Hi !!

On 25th of January 2012, there was a presentation on Shared Development Consulting Group (SCDG) project here in Pavia. The SDCG project is an initiative of a group of alumni of the Masters Programme in Cooperation and Development (CD) of Pavia, from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. The SCDG is in process of registration in Belgium under Ministry of Justice.

Our batch, the 15th edition of Master class helped a lot in order to make program a grand success. All of us deserve a round of applause for ourselves, ha ha ha, what do you say my friends?

Well, I would like to share a video that Arnab Dewan made after the program, that basically covers glimpse of the event. He has executed the video in a very nice way that we would like to watch it again and again. That is a reason the video has been watched 178 times in 24 hours and counting…, I would say this is an example of a viral video among smaller community, a community concerned to SDCG.

Here is the video…

One second, I would like to grab this opportunity to tell you that he is working on his upcoming documentary. I had a chance to look at some of initial parts, and it’s just a plain awesome.

Hi folks !!!

I remember the days when I used to talk with my friends about the money. I mean not about jobs or how to get it but there was a curiosity on money itself, something like how the Central bank prints it and circumstances behind the whole process. Most of my friends were also not sure about how it works; therefore most often we end up such discussion with linking it to the gold. By now I have realized that it’s not only me, so many people do not know the notion of money.

It’s interesting that I now understood how this modern money or piece of paper works in real world. Therefore I’m sharing core idea behind money with you guys, so that you can also understand that there is no such mystery on money… hopefully. I’m now studying Master in Cooperation and Development. I had course on macro economics in preliminary module and now dealing with development economics. There was a lecture focused on idea behind money last week.

If I start reflecting the whole lecture, I’m sure you gonna close this blog and check who is commenting on your last facebook status. So I’m sharing a video from the youtube (below), which is pretty close to the lecture that I had. Video is 47 minutes long, so consider your time too.

As of now, I understood Money is all about DEBT. If you think, I’m wrong or I need to learn much more on it, feel free to comment on this blog post.

Ciao

Hi

I’m just sharing an article from Amazonwatch.org. There is something seen to everyone except Cheveron.

Then you can sign petition in support of good cause. What do you say?

Now that Chevron has been found guilty – again – for intentionally dumping a massive amount of toxic oil waste in the Ecuadorean Amazon, the company has become increasingly desperate to explain its refusal to take responsibility. But then, Chevron’s spokespeople have never been afraid to make absurd excuses for why their company puts profits over people.

We’ve received thousands of submissions for new excuses Chevron can use, but we’re sure there are plenty more where those came from. So we compiled some of the most ridiculous things Chevron spokespeople have said over the years in this video, to give you a little inspiration. These are truly some of the stupidest moments in Chevron PR.

As you can see, Chevron’s PR hacks are struggling to come up with a valid excuse for why their company refuses to do the right thing in Ecuador. Go to www.ran.org/chevron-excuses now and suggest a new excuse they can use.

Of course, sending their PR zombies out to spout their ludicrous talking points is not the only response Chevron has come up with. Many more of Chevron’s shameless tactics are detailed here.
